Fat Cats with Ellis.

Ellis and I went to the Fat Cats arcade as part of his birthday gift from Little Billy and me. (Yes, it was a long time coming haha.) What I realize each time I play these fun games is that I am not good at them. Ellis doesn't seem to mind, and we always have a great time.

Afterwards we headed to Arctic Circle for a treat.

I love spending one-on-one time with this sweet boy.

Monday, Sept 26

Emmett came over and helped me get out some of my Halloween decor.

All his favorites: spiders, rats, crows, and skeletons.

(And his current fave book is right there on the floor - he especially likes the back cover that shows all kinds of flies, of which he can name almost all of them.)

I love spending one-on-one time with this sweet boy, too.

Cal's Birthday Party (+ Labor Day)

Cal had an airplane theme party - my girls are so creative and fun when it comes to party planning.

It was a nice hot day, and the kids loved all the fun activities in Kody's parents backyard.

I couldn't decide between these two pics, so I'm posting both.

Kody's parents also have some great shade (and amazing fruit trees).

Shilo made the darling sprinkle cake. It was perfect.

It was so fun to gather and celebrate Cal {a few days early}. 

I can't believe he's TWO.

Speaking of TWO, Brooks turned 2 months old the following day.

Shilo and Kody went out for their anniversary, so Li'l Bill and I got to spend quality time with our boy Cal B. I don't think he's a fan of pictures (or being left by his mum and dad), but I snapped some anyway. I think he's enjoying an m&m or two, since that is what a Gigi is good for.

Cal B loves the kitchen. We had so much fun with him, and he was in such a good mood when Shi and Kody got home that he was twirling. Yes, twirling.

I look forward to the day Cal loves me. Right now he tolerates me... but the love will come soon. For now, my love for him is more than enough. ♥
