Emmett sleeps over.

 March 19-20

Emmett had his first sleepover at Gigi & Little Billy's.

I only know how to do a few things. Some day my grands are going to get bored with my simple entertainment, but for now it still works. Slime is one of the things I do fairly well, and I try to always keep the ingredients on hand for such a time as this.

Emmett had found my fancy card holders and thought they were particularly fun to use in the slime.

He also enjoyed a bag of chips. At Gigi's house, almost anything goes haha.

Later that night Little Billy inflated the air mattress, and slept on the sofa all night to keep an eye on our little bubby.

The next morning we got out the water colors...
another Gigi specialty ;-)

Emmett topped of the morning playing with magnetic animals and dinos. I wasn't sure how he would do on his own, and he did fantastic. I love spending time with my favorite little people one-on-one (or one-on-two... or two-on-two).

I need to plan grand sleepovers more often.♥

Love and marriage - Marty and Katie.

*May 1, 2021*
Marty & Katie seal the deal...

...while hanging from a cliff.

Literally taking a leap of faith haha.

My mom wanted to have a family celebration of their marriage, which didn't happen until...
March 18, 2022. It was a fun event and a great reason to gather. Katie is amazing, and we are so happy to have her in our family.

My mom had asked me to make a variety of cakes. I really thought it would be pretty simple, but, as usual, it's always a li'l harder to pull off when it comes right down to it haha.

Luckily, it all came together, and we had a wonderful time celebrating this cute couple. ♥

Katie loved the Pavlova enough to lick the plate. I'd call that a success.

I love that we got this picture.

A huge thank you to Austin for his mad photography skills.

Reese's Blessing Day.

 Sunday, March 6

Our precious Reese was blessed.

It was kind of awesome to be able to snap a couple pictures from the loft. Reese was so good, and just took in the faces of the wonderful men standing around her.
Peep Brielle playing away with the magnetic letters in the background haha.

I loved how some of the older kids watched and listened so intently.

Afterwards we had yummy food.

Austin's mom Judy made the most delicious cupcakes.

We love our Reesey-pie! ♥
